I am looking saint seiya for language training. I can't understand this sentence: あらゆる攻擊をはね返す.
What does it mean? I remember that 返す means "return", so seiya will return an attack. But "はね返す" seems to be a verb too, what does it mean? What is the difference between "はね返す" and "返す"?
