Safe Haven

most of my gackt stuff is downloaded, but the gackt cds that i actually purchased (or somebody purchased for me) are moon, diabolos, and rebirth
 
every1 has the same firsts! its wierd! i think most people end up getting into jap music cause someone forced them to! lol
the first cd i actually bought myself was a Laruku cd!!!! i had some cds before that, but i had always gotten them for bdays or something .. or downloaded it!
 
I wasn't really forced more like given a gentle nudge out the door. :-)
And dude! I have "Rebirth" too! It was my first J-Rock album!
 
rebirth is my fav gackt cd!!! i currently have this unending obsession with the opening of uncontrol

and what is better then "Papa lapped a pap lopped" for a title?
 
I LOVE "uncontrol" even though if I ever met Gackt the first thing out of my mouth (well, second thing. The first would be "ah, butabara" lol) would be, "FYI, 'uncontrol' is not a word" But it is still a bloody BRILLIANT song! :-)
And nothing beats "Papa lapped a pap lopped" for a song title :p My girlfriend and I spent MONTHS trying to figure out how the f**k to say that lol
 
the only gackt cd i have is the seventh night umplugged ... cause the place i get my cds has almost nothing ... so sad!!! i have most of the songs on it, just not the actualy cd!
that is one of the most funny and creative titles there r for any song! it took me 4ever to figure out what the hell he was talking about!

yea...at first it bothered me that uncontrol was not a word...but then i figured he is gackt....he can do whatever he wants
 
I think it's both annoying and endearing that it isn't a word. And yeah, Gackt can do whatever (and whomever eh-hem) he wants. :-)

:LOL: indeed, "whomever" he wants, after all he is gackt....i swear some people worship him...like a god...a god of hotness :p
 
there is not much we could do.....besides force them to stare at pics of hyde until they must love him *maniacal laughter*
j/k...we hydists just need to stick together and form our own cult
 
It is amazing that such a strong voice comes out of such a tiny guy.
He's definitely cool in my book.
Just a question, I've been told multiple ways about the correct pronounciation of his name. What is it for sure?

The word "Hyde" when said with a Japanese accent gets an "oh" sound added onto the end. However, saying "Haido" is not any more correct or incorrect as saying "Hyde" both are correct. Thus spoke the Rampent-Overly-Obsessive-Rabid-Hyde/Haido-fangirl.

nah...i am crazy :mad: i am used to not seeing things that other people do....this was just a coincidental exception

hmmmm, i never knew that it didn't matter if you called him "hyde" or "haido"
i thought that "Haido" was the proper pronunciation, but we just say "Hyde" cause that is how we would read it in english....oh well...good to know that neither one is technically correct 👍
