I am another hopeless anime fan, I've picked up little japanese from here and there, know some common phrases, know some about japanese culture, but overall I know enough to be able to tell I know nothing. I'm fine with it; even though I'd like to learn japanese, I don't have enough willpower to do it, and spend my freetime in other activities (anime, for one). On top of this, when I look back and think how much it has taken me to speak English properly and still have a long way to go, I realize that learning japanese is not something to be taken lightly.
Well, that's enough background information, here's the issue I need help with:
I separate the people into groups in my chatting software, and I name the groups with the little japanese I know. Recently, I decided to make a group of people I don't talk to, or never talked to. With the little japanese I know, this would be:
hanasanai-hito
Meaning people that don't talk.
Is this ok, grammatically speaking?
I asked this question to american exchange students that were a couple of months in Japan, but they could not answer it for me, so I decided to join the forum.
I would appreciate any insight on the matter, and apologize in advance if this was not meant to be posted here.
