returning member

Konnichiwa, minna-san! I was a member of these forums before, but this is my first time back in a few years, so I thought I'd start afresh. I didn't know many people, so here's a reintroduction:

I'm a university student double-majoring in International Communications and Japanese. I'm interested in anime, manga, and video games, and I listen to a little bit of J-rock. I have this dream to work in Japan one day as an interpreter.

I hope that this site will help in making the move to Japan easier, either in providing vital information or offering different opinions on the best towns to live in.

I've only recently gotten into Anime. Well, years, YEARS ago, I watched a anime called Tranzor Z. In Japan I think it was called Mazinger Z. I loved it.

I just recently saw an episode of Death Note. It was really good. I'll have to buy the series on DVD.

mgs4, a lot of anime are really good, and Death Note's definitely one of them. I haven't finished the series but I know the gist of what happens. I don't really know many anime similar to Death Note so I can't recommend any you might like.
