Help Really small translation

Hi all,
I'm from italy and I have been always fascinated by japanese culture!
I'm tring to create a logo for my homesite, drawings, etc.
I was thinking about writing my name in Japanese but I don't how to write it in Kanji (it seems the most suitable way to create a logo).
By the way my name in "Ciro" and I was wondering if someone could help me.

sorry, but you can't write your name in kanji. (you could in chinese, but who wants to do that?) you have to use the not-so-elegant katakana, which will be a phonetic equivalent of your name.

i'm not sure how to pronounce italian... ciro... in japanese it could be kiro(キロ)? shiro(シロ)? suiro(スイロ)? whatever sounds the most like it.

but actually my name should be pronounced something like:

ci -> chi like chair so not like kiro or shiro, I don't if you ever heard the word "ciao" typical Italian greeting, or like in "cheers".

ro - > like in shiro so I guess that ロ is fine

It would be チロ.

Well, you actually can write your name in Kanji if you want. If you become a naturalized Japanese citizen (rare) you have to.

知 (chi) is quite common for names.
路 (ro) is not so common for names, but anything name-related and anything close to "ro" is elongated (to 'rou').
