Reading & writing in Kana?

Although this may seem like a bakana question, but how do most of you learn how to read & write in Kana so fluently?

By doing it. That's really it. You just have to do it over and over.

Hmmm, I see...
Because I've already got enough pronounceation/speaking textbooks and audio at hand to start learning that, now I just need some reading/writing (kana) textbooks or workbooks (preferably in PDF format) or sites to start learning also how to write, etc...
