ragnrok

me. i love ragnarok online. such a great game although it cost me money to play. :eek: i play mu now because it's FREE 🙂

free server, which one?
i play lots, used to play chaos, lvl 45 thief then beta expired, so went to xaosRO. This is a really good private server, this is one of the best private servers for me
 
i play ragnarok online too... i have a priest, mage, archer, swordsman and a merchant in chaos a swordsman in loki a mage in sarah and a thief in URDR(a PK server), lots of novices in other servers... <---- all in pRO(Philippine Ragnarok Online) and a retired swordsman in iRO... RO is the no.1 MMORPG in my country i must say... there are currently no free MMORPG's(i guess) here but currenlty we're waiting for ROSE open beta and RF online's open beta... :-)

I played q ro adn a swordsman lvl 47/38 just about to be a knight.than somehow error can't logon:(start again...now I have a theif lvl 40/36

yeh free server all around the world but they are illegeal. To me RO is one of the worst MMORPG games to pay for coz there are so many private servers out there.
 
I used to be on PillowsRO, for over a year, then it shut down finally, I was a lvl 99 Knight by the end of the days. Now I'm sick and tired of those low rates, that I've started to play the high rates;), I'm on NamelessRO now, currently a lvl 255 Lord Knight, lvl 255 Sincross, and lvl 255 High Priest...Champions own on that server, which is kinda dumb, but oh well.
 
Ragnarok...It's been a while since I quit. I had been playing on iRO; have a Lv. 48 archer and a merchant. I am still thinking of taking up another MMORPG instead of it. Got any recommendations? Hey, does Guild Wars really require a GEForce 3 chipset card? It is pretty hard to believe; mine is a GEForce 2 platinum by Creative (64MB)...won't that do as well?

I also played high rate servers, but they bore me. I tried to play namelessRO, but it was soo laggy everytime i logg on. So i just quit it and went bak to low rate servers. XAOSRO ALL THE WAY!!! ^^

Lol, cool, well just so you know, they upgraded to there new server, and to tell you the truth, it doesn't lag as bad as it used too, which makes me happy;). Back then there was up to 800+ on it, which killed it, now a days' it only averages around 500-600+ which is better, plus the new server they got makes it better.

However, I'm going to retire on RO all together and start playing Lineage 2 again, I miss my Blade Dancer and my Elven Temple Knight;).

choas australia had 2k+ ppl on it b4 beta version finished and it never lagged...its good that nameless upgraded their server but i prefer low rate servers...
is lineage any good?

When you play on a low rate server like me for well over a year and a half you get sick of low rates. As for Lineage 2, it's great, maybe these pictures will testify for itself, my Elven Knight is the one in red, while my cousin plays the Blade Dancer with the darker armor. This was our old server, I stopped playing it, and now I'm going to restart again, I'm still looking for a descent server to play on :-)

There aren't "free server" on RO as the word says. They're simply Private Servers which use an Emulator to run the entire world of RO. I couldn't tell if that is outlaw or not, but I really don't care, since I wouldn't never pay-to-play a game. I would suggest every company to charge an initial price, then to play it online whenever you want, I think it's better ^^.

but if its just a one of price how would the company make money. Companies like gravity triggersoft that create mmorpg games make their money by a monthly fee or else the company will go broke
