Hi!
Would anyone know locations (shops, restaurants, department stoors etc.) in Tokyo, that would sell quorn meat, a.k.a. fake meat/soy meat/mushroom proteine? And if so, any estimate on how much would it cost?
I haven't seen those anywhere in Tokyo so far, but would love to use it in my cooking, as I don't use meat. Would love to also cook something for my Japanese friends from it.
I'm now back in my home country for a few weeks still, and could bring some from here for myself, but would rather of course just buy it in Tokyo. Just suddenly remembered the Ye Good Olde JREF forum and thought about asking you guys..
Replying to myself, as one of my friends had one answer: ナチュラルハウス-自然食品・自然化粧品・オーガニック
Small shops selling organic items in various locations around Tokyo.
Thought there might be others looking for the same thing, so might as well post here what I can find.
You can't buy Quorn in Japan. Well, I haven't seen it anywhere.
I don't eat meat, so I just shove tofu into everything I cook. Umm... The Mrs just shakes her head as I destroy thousands of years of tradition and culture. Ha!
