im just finishing off a letter to my old homestay mother in japan and i can't remember how to say "i miss you" also does anyone know the masu form of them verb "to milk" like to milk a cow

I'd say something like "hisashiburi ni aenakute samishii ne." It basically means "I miss you since we haven't seen each other in a while."

No idea on the milk thing.

I would just say, "aitai" or expand on that. There is no way to directly say "I miss you" in Japanese.

For "to milk a cow", I would say, "ushi no chichi wo shiboru"

I hope this helps.
