Quick より question

I encountered some odd より usage and I couldn't figure out the exact meaning. I searched on the net for a while to get a few examples, but I still don't get it. I was under the impression that より can be replaced with から in some cases, but I'm not sure if it's limited to "time", like "From today...". Some examples I found:

No idea if PS2より and ドラマCDより are supposed to mean "from PS2 / drama cd" or something else? And can it just be replaced with から then?

Right. より indicates the source as same as から. It's often used in written language.
