Hi! I just have some questions on Japanese.
Thanks in advance for helping me. I appreciate all you guys going out of your way to clear try and clear up all this confusion for me ^^
So, first off is the Japanese word 'Mitai na'. I know that it means 'Looks like' right? And it is an adjective. However, I was watching a Japanese drama and there was a girl who would always say it at the end of the sentences. I've never seen it used at the end of sentences until I saw that show. For example, she would say "きょたろくんは私が大好き!みたいなーーー!!!"
Meaning "It appears that Kyotaro kun loves me!" I know that it is for sure casual language. So if that's the case, what other things in Japanese can I do to just make it sound more conversational?
Second, can someone explain this sentence to me?
音楽をかけたらって意味かと思った!笑
I know that it has music, meaning, and thought, and call. The other words like って or the か after meaning I don't understand. It's a message from a conversation between me and my Japanese friend.
Third, in conversational Japanese I notice that particles can be taken out. Should have been in my first point but oh well. Curious, do you guys have a list of Japanese conversational vocab? And when I hear Japanese words for the first time that aren't proper, for example majide isn't proper, is there any way I could try to know what means?
