Question regarding double-timing Unis

Right, so this may seem a bit obvious but...
I'm currently in the enrollment process for MEXT, and I just graduated my BA. Problem is, aside from the fact that I'm not sure I'm accepted yet, school starts in Japan in April, and the university year here starts in october. I've gotten to the second screening with MEXT, and got admitted to the MA of my choice within the country. I would've liked to pursue the MA studies here for a semester, since my family gets taken off welfare if I stop being a student, I don't want to miss a year of school in case I don't get accepted by MEXT, and I really like the MA here as well. The teachers at the MA are cool with my signing up for a semester and then dropping out but...

5: The Applicant is already the recipient of a scholarship from an organization (including a governmental organization in his/her country of origin) other than the Japanese government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology - MEXT).

Does this mean that if I start the MA in my country I am no longer a valid applicant?

Unless your getting a scholarship for your MA in your home country I don't think it counts since that is basically just preventing you from getting a double scholarship.

You'd probably want to contact your embassy though to make sure its ok.
