Hi all, i was wondering which is the appropriate translation for "The town will change in ten years."

1) もう10年経てばその町は変っているだろう。
2) もう10年経てばその町は変わるだろう。

Generally ~た means completion.

(1) In 10 years time the town will have changed.
(2) In 10 years time the town will change.

The speaker is talking about 10 years after from now, and (1) the change will have already taken place after 10 years and one will see the result (how it changed) then while (2) simply means the change will take place after 10 years but the change may not have already completed yet.
