Question Punctuation question.

Hi all, I am a total novice, and I wanted to ask a question about any punctuation that may be used to separate Japanese words. I have seen the new Apple Translation app use the symbol • to separate two words - do Japanese ever use that symbol to separate words, or are they always grouped together without any spaces or symbols to separate them? Thank you

Thanks Majestic, so it wouldn't be used in a simple, two-word (adjective+noun) descriptor or sentence?

No, I can't think of a situation like that where the interpunct would be appropriate. You can see all sorts of crazy punctuation in manga (punctuation intended to emphasize certain words), but no, I wouldn't expect to see it in-between an adjective and a noun, unless maybe its a foreign name like ゴールデン・ゲート・ブリッジ or something like that.
