I have heard this in a movie, please help me.. I want the literal meaning of this one. Thanks! ぼくはおまいのこと好きなだから。

ぼくはおまいのこと好きなだから。

Wouldn't it be 好きだから?Or something?

Otherwise I'd like to know what this な does, should it exist.

should be ぼくはおまえのこと好きだから or ぼくはおまえのこと好きなのだから

it wouldn't be 好きのだから because 好き is a -な adjective (ie 好きな食べ物)
if you're going to put a ん or の after a -な adjective it needs to have な on it
ex. 嫌い-> 嫌いなのだ->嫌いなんだ

Oh yeah. I recall learning that before, but I obviously forgot. I'll make sure it stays this time. Thank you very much

My question had already been answered thank you guys! by the way, @LewiiG: it is a na adjective and I forgot to place ん after na, so it should have been like this; ぼくはおまいのことすきなんだから。

おまえ not おまい

おまえ not おまい

Strangely enough, jisho.org sees おまえ, おまい, and おめえ as all meaning "you" (and all three written as お前). I was going to say something, but figured おまい might be colloquial or regional.

おまえ not おまい

おまえ、おまえ、おまえ、おまえ。。。Why do I always have difficulties remembering words especially spelling?xD

Yeah, that's a dialect mostly used in Tokyo(/Edo), as in おまいさん(=御前様). Although it's not "colloquial" but more likely "obsolete".

In Japanese it isn't just spelling; it is also pronunciation. Sometimes an error results in a completely different word.
