So the situation is I am in a circle of very close friends. We are engaged into our conversation and enjoying the time that we forget to go and have a meal. I decide to
grab everyone's attention, but interrupt with courtesy: "ええ、すみません! Is the grammar correct? Is this abnormal and does it come across as rude? Please give your comments. Thanks in advance.

Can you tell us what you meant by that?

What you wrote isn't rude, just incorrect.
I think you are trying to say,

I don't understand especially

It is a persuasive suggestion for the group to go eat, since I am now feeling hungry. Thank you for trying to understand me
Or maybe you meant
This is a little simpler.

typo

You might also just say one of the following

or some combination
especially if you are among friends.
