Hello, I have received a letter from my friend in Japan after telling her that I may come and visit. I also told her that I would visit this year in the winter sometime. One of the things she wrote back to me was:
"来る2ヶ月前に行ってくれたら休み取る。"
I didn't tell my friend the specific month I was coming because it's a little too soon, but if I understand her right, she says she can take some time off from work if I could come 2 months before? It seems a little vague.. please help

She's saying that she wants you to tell her the date when you're visiting Japan 2 months in advance, so she can make arrangements to take leave (from work).

Typo: 行ってくれたら must be 言ってくれたら

Oh I see now! Thank you for pointing out the typo

Ha, that kind of changes things!
