I heard from quite a few Japanese fans that it isn't bad news. It's an announcement about them appearing at an event.

Yeah. I've been hoping for something new. Though I do like the new version of Kami Uta a whole lot better.

And the PV is really good. ^^ It reminds me of the Mikansei to Guilt PV in a way.

The special CD was given out only to people who spend 5000 yen+ at two shows on 7/23 and 7/24.

The baby is the child of the guy who owns Holiday Osaka (a livehouse that UNDER CODE bands often play at). He sent the photo to Kisaki and let him post it on his blog.

Only 100 were made. I couldn't even get one, so I'll be very surprised if anyone non-Japanese has one. This one is as rare as the Jun humor CD last year, of which only 30 were made.
 
You can hear it on DVDs at the end of the lives~ it's at the end of the creatures in imagination DVD for sure.
 
you know...I seem to be under the impression that phantasmagoria is/has disbanded...but apparently the band doesn't seem to feel this way because on top of the already announced CLUB CITTA dvd releasing on the 29th of this month, and the already announced 2, yes 2 "greatest hits" cd's and a "greatest video hits" dvd that are coming out early September, they've also just announced two more live dvd's coming out in October and a new "Nine-song image soundtrack for crucial concerts in Phantasmagoria's career" album. also coming out in october. I mean I thought these guys disbanded a couple months ago, yet they keep piling on more and more releases. Why did they even disband in the first place lol
 
They didn't break up (yet). They were on an activity pause but Kisaki decided to retire, so the two members that had left came back and the band revived temporarily.

They're "sealing" as they like to say on August 31, and Kisaki will retire from the active music scene to devote his time to running UNDER CODE.

It's pretty commonplace for bands to release best-of albums when they break up, and even more commonplace for the final lives to be made into DVDs (especially tour final onemans, which they've always done). Look at hide, who has been dead for a long time, but he's still "releasing" albums. Phantasmagoria made a big impact on the indies scene so I don't really find it weird at all.

The reason they're breaking up is because Kisaki is retiring, and it's always been his "final" band. The rest of the band don't feel that they can go on with Phantasmagoria without him.

However, there are a lot of conspiracy theories and rumors going around at the moment, probably out of desperate hope to keep the band alive...

We'll see what happens.
 
i am so hopelessly hoping something happens.. anyways i just want the best for all of them.. Phantasmagoria is my fav jrock band ever so im gonna miss then so much...

i really want to hear Riku, Jun and Iori's new projects soon ^^
