Is there a Japanese word for latte? Could you tell me what it is in romaji? I'm just attempting to speak Japanese at the minute and can't tell my kanji from my hiragana. Also I love lattes with hazlenut syrup, what would be the romaji for this? Would love to be able to order my favourite drink and this will be an easy one for me to remember!

Latte is ラテ or ラッテ、would sound "ra-te" "ratte" to your ears.
Hazelnut syrup is ヘーゼルナッツ シロップ, heezerunattsu shiroppu would be closest.

Those drinks' names are not translated, they're just import words and pronounced in Japanese way and written in katakana.
And if you go to Starbucks in Japan, you'll get menu in English, so you can order your favourite drinks.
