Order from Japan denied delivery

Has anyone ordered something from japan and had Customs denied it's devery?

I ordered like 500 bucks worth of stuff using J-list and Customs denied it's devery and sent it back to J-list..

No reason given... was given a full refund and a gift card for the same amount... 500 bucks...


Why would Customs do that?

That is weird ?

Years ago , when I would send stuff home from Japan , about 1 out of every 5 packages would get held. Someone from my family would have to go down and open it in front of the inspector and then it would be OK. Why the other 4 would get through no problem always made us wonder why. You would think they would at least give you a reason.
