As I often point out, I am not loyal to men. I am loyal to the quest for truth. I am interested in the message, not the messenger.
But I think if I ever became loyal to men, Noam Chomsky would be on my short list of men to investigate being loyal to. But, I know little of what messages can be attributed to Chomsky because I am so focused on the actual message and not the messenger. Still, I cannot think of any message from Chomsky that I had enough issue with to bother stating disagreement. That said it has to be noted that I have run across some messages I found to be FALSELY attributed to Chomsky or maliciously misinterpreted. And I know that is because some people absolutely hate the man.
So I wonder, how do you feel about Chomsky and much, much more importantly, why you feel that way? What messages of his do you agree with and what do you not?
