Nightmare

[Winter]

I've heard quite a bit about this band, and what I've heard is that they, to quote many jrock fans "Suck", so I'm assuming that I'll like them.

Does anyone have any info or good links to some of their work?

Nightmare (ナイトメア, Naitomea) is a Japanese visual kei rock band from Sendai. Formed on January 1, 2000, it has consisted of Yomi (lead vocals), Sakito (lead guitar & backing vocals), Hitsugi (rhythm guitar), Ni~ya (bass & backing vocals) and Ruka (drums & percussion) for the majority of their career. They enjoyed mainstream success with the inclusion of their songs "The World" and "Alumina" in the Death Note anime and are considered a major act in the visual kei scene.

Heya,
I have the Nightmare album Ultimate Circus. I'm not really very technical about music so best info I can give is that I think they're pretty decent. To me they have a very average sound, although they do have some guitar stuff that I like more than average. So I guess for me they are something that is good to have in my big master playlist of songs that shuffles thru, but not something I would want to just listen to the whole album of very often.

Ah, really? Is that so Winter? I really like them. I have heard many people compare them to Dir en grey (which for you would be bad I guess) but I don't really agree with that. Um... on this site :

She has a couple of their songs, and she also has a fan site for them apart from it...As I said before I really like Nightmare, they are very Visual I guess you could say, sure they can be plainer in sound than others, but they never seem to disappoint me...

Just a little note, i got ribido int he mail today. IMO its decent, but still sounds rather plain and average to me.
