I didn't watch the whole thing, but I was surprised to see that at least two of the performers I did see were lipsynching (one was Lady Gaga, and the other was Mana Ashida/Fuku Suzuki). I didn't think that Kohaku allowed singers to do this. Was this a first or has this happened before?

Oh, and what was UP with Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi!? His theatrics were pretty embarrassing to watch.

I don't know Nagabuchi besides his theme song for Kiyohara, but were his theatrics that bad to watch?
