Next Week Trip in Tokyo

HI,
I'm from HK, i'll be travel japan next week with my friends.
My trip will be goto Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Ueno, Nakano, Akihabara.
I'm worry for taking JR trains between timing of (9:30AM & 6:30PM).
Does this time will be crowded? What's the office hour in japan?

Don't worry. The trains are not that packed during the hour, 9:30AM to 6:30PM. But if some of you need special attention, it is good to tell JR staffs about your itenerary in advance soon after you arrive at Narita Airport.

Time of a crowded train of Shinjuku Station is 9:00 from 8:00.
Because most companies start work from 9:00
It is 18:00 from 17:30 that a company is over
However,
Because people work overtime, it is not crowded.
But the late-night last train becomes full.
It is more than the morning.

Yes, i want to know more about this JR...tell me more about it..
I used the train when i went to shibuya from the shinagawa station, if i'm not mistaken it's called the yamanote line..is it different from JR?

The Yamanote Line circles around central Tokyo and is a JR line. The JR Railpass is good for this line.

Ah yes,now i know that Yamanote Line is a JR line..What's a JR railpass ? Is it a ticket for one day ? Sorry, for my many question, since someone paying for my tickets in my past visit, i dont know about this kind of thing. This time i have to stay in Tokyo alone..so i gather as many information as possible..

A Railpass is a special pass for tourists only. You purchase your pass vouchers in your home country and exchange it at a JR office in Japan. There are different passes for different regions and for all of Japan. Generally, you can get one for 7 days or even 14 days. With some restrictions, you have unlimited use of the JR train lines during the time the pass is valid.

For example, you can buy one pass for 7 days for all of Japan for about $230-$250. If you are going to use bullet trains, the pass would save you some money. The more you use it, the more you save. If you are just going to stay in Tokyo, it isn't worth getting. Most subways in Tokyo are not JR lines.
