ahahah, so yeah I'm a nerd, read all the books

Has anyone seen it yet? I really liked it, especially how they made it pretty dark, not like emo, but a little "not-so-happy-aimed-forkids-8-12"

but i guess it is a kids book...

There was a lot of stuff cut out, all in all, it was OK.

I just saw it last night, and I liked it.

It's about 2 and a half hours, but it doesn't feel long at all.

Having never read the books, I have no idea what was cut, but I would definately recommend this movie!

Went to see it last night and quite enjoyed it. I agree with Putrefaction, that there was a lot cut out of it, especially about the Half-Blood Prince. Odd, seeing that is the name of the book.

I enjoyed it too. I thought they moved it along pretty well considering it is so long.

However, it's a long time since I've read the book, so I guess there were nuances left out that helped the plot, like about the Half-Blood Prince - however the film did kind of carry me along with it so that didn't bother me, at least not until I started to think more about it!

Everyone: Yes they did cut alot out, but i feel that it kept as much as possible without overloading it, and like Kinsaoさん said, i didnt realize how much they left out until i started to think about it.

The movie was OK. I read the book just a few days before going to see the movie. Alot was cut off but I guess it was necessary, or it would have been too long. I would have liked that they'd kept Dumbledore's funeral at the end, though.
