Newbie Introduction

Group etiquette seems to be an intro posting, so here's mine. I am a UK freelance writer & illustrator in the toy soldiers, wargaming and military history hobbies industry. I have a long-time personal interest in things Japanese, especially military history during the change from samurai to modern army, and the Japanese involvement in the Boxer Rebellion. I live in a very small village in the Derbyshire Dales in an 1840s stone cottage with my wife and 2 Burmese cats.
