New oldie on board

Hi, I am an artist from Berlin and have been in Japan a few (5) times, also professionally, but never longer than 7 weeks or so.
My Japanese is very meager, but my interest in all things Japan and around very big, although not the only interest.
I happen to know a few japanese filmmaker and other artists and am especially interested in any kind of cultural exchange or experiences, but not only in that field.
You can also find me in any animation/Manga film of interest, I am pretty ageless in my fun and joy.

Also strolling around on sideways in Japan, often with my camera, was great joy!

I hope to find some more interesting themes here and am a member of the german japanese society for many years, by the way.

WELCOME to JREF I'm sure you can hang out and enjoy the many things that are being talked about here and there. I have actually already read your post on the 'What Do You Think About the Bible' thread, and will respond there, but just wanted to welcome you here first.

Sounds like you are my type !! Why couldn't we have met some years ago, huh? hee, hee, hee.....I am much into the arts too. I go more so for surrealism than other visual forms...be that in painting, drawing, photography, etc...

I should have answered sooner, but there were so many interesting things lately. . .

Actually, I pretty much started via a kind of surrealism and am still not opposed to it.
And I like curious and open minds, which you obviously are.

You write brilliant posts, but I need some time to digest it, but my high respect, Mars Man! (please don't feel ignored, it just requires more serious attention than I have at the moment, OK?)

OH I'd love to see those, but have not gotten the chance yet. If you could post a link here, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have posted two (I think, or three) of my paintings in the 'Post Your Arts and Crafts Here' thread in the Chit Chat & Misc. sub-fora...here's a link but I can't recall what pages they are on.
