I have to learn how to make touchy-feely warm-fuzzy off-topic posts 90% of the time, and when I make a post actually related to Japan I have to make sure that it is neither informative, useful, nor based on any actual knowledge of the subject.

I'm learning how to do this stuff, and I have a good teacher.
