Can I get these in Romanji?:

"Ladies, gentlemen and karate-ka, welcome to the United States Karate Association California Championship."

"I bring no evil, I bear no weapons."

I am MC-ing a tournament tomorrow (11/6)

I suggest you start by saying what MC-ing is. [EDIT] Oh wait, that wasn't one of the sentences you wanted translated, was it?

MC-ing or emceeing- Master of Ceremonies- the announcer or guy with the microphone who has to say such things as "welcome," "the snack bar is open..." "last call for 4 year old black belts."

Can I get the Romaji for the sentences in quotes. (I've got big fingers and occasionally hit two keys at once.)

Well I could have a go at it - but I wouldn't be doing you much good. If you want natural Japanese you need a native speaker. The best you could hope for mine would be that it wouldn't be too horribly wrong.

諸君、空手家、アメリカ空手のカリフォルニア組織へようこそ
shokun, karateka, amerikakarate no kariforunia soshiki e youkoso

悪を持たず、武器を持たぬ
aku o motazu, buki o motanu.

Incidently the second sentence is probably a) Horribly wrong
and b) Possibly from a Japanese saying in the first place? If so then it
would be best to track it down rather than 'back-translate'.

ladies and gentlemen is just 'minasama'. the mc i heard while in japan spoke politely at least.

the first sentence i think would therefore be something more like:

皆様と空手家、アメリカ空手組織のカリフォルニア優勝戦へようこそ
"minasama to katateka, amerika karate soshiki no cariforunia yuushouusen e youkoso"

well that's my guess. PaulTB forgot to mention in his translation the bit about it being a championship. kind of important no?

Yup, but on the other hand it's _also_ kinda important to ...

There's no 'c' in 'kariforunia' either.

I don't think "shokun" is polite enough myself.

多数の人をさす語。主として男性が対等以下のものに軽い敬意をもっていう語。

Regarding the "saying"... hmm... It's very hard to just say that outright like that and expect the Japanese listeners to understand your feelings exactly. It might be better to say something like "today we meet in the spirit of the saying 'xxx' " or something. Just dropping a rough-style classical-Japanese samurai phrase into your remarks may be confusing. Need a native speaker though...

JKA is 日本空手協会, branch is 支部 so altogether

Amerika Karate Kyoukai Kariforunia Shibu

is the name of your club.

I would say (building on above posts)

Karateka no katagata, kankyaku no minasama, Amerika Karate Kyoukai Kariforunia Shibu no senshuken taikai e youkoso

空手家の方々、観客の皆様、アメリカ空手協会カリフォルニア支部の選手権大会へようこそ

The "saying" is part of what is called a mudra- a brief set of moves at the opening of a kata. There was something phonetic in the manual, but I can't locate it.
