thank you for your replys,the reason i ask is that i am decorating my flat in the japanese desighn which is why i have a sword,paper screen and i am looking for more items and phrases to go on my walls.i would much apreciate any sugestions in this.

desu meens "is, are,am,"ect so "A is B" would be "A wa B desu" and yo is meens like "i tell you or its a fact that" kinda like a spoken exclamation point is what i think of it as
