Which hardly strikes me as representative of what I thought was on that drive. Those were pulled from a list of 13,256 tracks.

Since I hardly ever listen to mp3s at home, but spend 10-14 hours a day listening to them at work, I'd like to retry it adding the stuff I actually carry around with me:

That's from a track total of 41,223. I find it bizarre that two tracks from the first list repeated on the second list. What's even worse is that when I just clicked through about 20 or 30 times again, several of them repeated again.

Well, when you've got as many gigs of stole--er--downloaded music as I do, you tend to get some pretty bizzare results--especially since I listen to so many different types of music...

1: "Castlevania VampireKiller Deadcorpse OC ReMix" by Children of the Monkey Machine

Hmm, not bad--not their best though, I usually skip this one...​

2: "The Truth" by Dana Nicosa

Wuzzafuk? This must be from that CD a friend lent me about a year ago--I never got around to listening to it...​

3: "How soon is now?" by T.A.T.U.

Ugh. Some of their stuff is good when it's still in the origional russian--but I must admit that my main interest in this band is their "Barely Legal Lesbian Music Videos" (Yeah, I'm a dirty old man--so what? )​

4: "O Fortuna"

Ah, that's better! Nothing beats apocalyptic classical music performed by a full orchestra...​

5: "Mudshovel" by Staind

This one rocks--pretty good for a band that can't spell. ​

6: "Windows XP Logon Sound"

NANI?!? I'll have to be a little more specific the next time I tell Media Player to search for all music files on my hard drive... ​

7: "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica & the San Fransisco Symphony

That's more like it. It's a shame this was the last good album Metallica released--but I guess it's hard to write angry rock music after spending millions on therapy...​

8: "Theme from Mortal Combat 2"

A crappy remake of a good thing--not unlike the movie. ​

9: "Bridge To The New Dark Ages" spoken word by Jello Biafra

Meh, this one's to preachy for my tastes--I prefer the hillarity of "Why I'm Glad the Space Shuttle Blew Up" ​

10: "Nothing Else Matters" by Apocalyptica

No, that's not a typo. Apocalyptica is a group of four cellists who play covers of Metallica songs and other heavy metal music--I prefer their cover of "Path" to this one though...​

...hmm, can't say this is very representitave of my listening habits--there isn't even a single swing song in there and most of it is crap that i forgot to delete--but with such a variety of music I suppose ten songs don't make a good cross-section...
