I was down at a local club to catch the tunes of the Jp band mono two weeks ago. Just forgot to mention it here.
I've been to one of their gigs before, but that was on a Jp evening at a local filmclub and they played in a pretty rotten cellar/lobby thing that was about big enough to hold 100 people.. and I missed the first half of the show since I was in the theater-room watching Miike's Audition.
But the part I saw was so awesome I had to go see them when I heard they were comming to town again.
Their style is impossible to place, but it's some sort of instrumental heavy metal. Their songs commonly start of really slow and soft and gradually climb into a climax of pandemonium.
