How would you rate Miyazaki as a place to live?

Does anyone have any personal experience?

Just been offered a job there and can't get much info about it on inet.

The seashore is warm, and a professional baseball team comes for training in the winter season.
The mountains are steep.
There is a skiing area in mountains area.
Takachiho of Miyazaki is the Japanese mythical birthplace.
An industrial area is Nobeoka.
From Kawasaki of Kanagawa to Nobeoka
There is a ferry route.

I only had a trip to Miyazaki but I thought it was excellent. I haven't traveled too extensively in Japan but Miyazaki was actually my top choice for somewhere to move to. It just had a really nice atmosphere.
