Miyavi

That actually happened with my piercing Bighug.
Also does anyone remember maya chan Miyavi's old guitarist? Well apparently he is in a new band with Pierrot's Aiji. They are in a band called Lovely Mococchang ::: LM.C Official Website :::

awww you mean maya-tan?? He was so cute hehehe. Miyavi always made fun of him and abused him (in a friendly funny way hehe). Well now he has his own band so yay for him! He looks very different though...

Miyavi's half korean?? *________________*

Yaaaaaaaaazzzzzz!!!! xDDDDD

I knew it!!~~That's so cool!!!

By why does it seem like they make a big deal out of it like if he's soooo different from the other Japanese *_______*

Thank you thank you thank you for the trans!!! x)

I've heard that Miyavi rumor going around FOREVER, so I'm glad it's been cleared up. I dunno, though, I never really cared that much; maybe it's because we Americans are a bunch of mutts, so mixed races aren't anything remarkable to me. ☝ Thanks a lot for the translation, it was so cute. "So, Miyavi, you were born in Hyogo?" "We're not talking about that right now. I'm Korean, yay!"
Aww, maya-tan is looking so good these days, as well as Aiji. *_* Yum. I want to eat their hair, it's so pretty.

the Japanese , well some of them dont like Koreans and foreigners, they sometimes have signs in restaurant windows saying "no foreigners" and they still dont like (or want to have anything to do with) people of Korean origin, even if theyre Japanese for many generations back down the line. Miyavi appears to not care about his heritage and such and just says somethiing about it being the music stuff that counts, not the "being part Korean" or whatever. and i think he's right. it really doesnt make a difference, about what mix you have in you, its just some people, most likely to be the very pure family lines and such are stubborn and refuse to change. anyways. im not sure how right i am, but i read about this sorta thing in a book i have!

so...
correct me if im wrong but thats something along the line of it XDD
hope it helps

sometimes have signs in restaurant windows saying "no foreigners"

let's say 0,0001 % of all the restaurants in Japan, if it isn't less than that.

about Koreans in Japan, here is a small part quoted from wiki:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zainichi_Korean

yo!
got a stupide question, now that we know that miyavi is half Korean: north or south Korea?

In an interview for an issue of Rock And Read magazine, Miyavi states he's mixed, that his grandparents on his father's side are from Jejudo, Korea, and that his father's real last name is Lee (李家).

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, or Jeju Province (Jeju-do) for short, is the only special self-governing province of South Korea, situated on, and coterminous with, the country's largest island. Jeju-do lies in the Korea Strait, southwest of Jeollanam-do Province, of which it was a part before it became a separate province in 1946. Its capital is Jeju City.

This is the information that you searched for!

He openly admitted that he was half Korean...so I guess that's what Miyavi wants us to know that his last name is Lee.

I wonder if he's listed in the phonebook as Lee Ki Ah... Probably not ^^;

I'm not even entirely sure that you can trust that it's this real name. I mean, he's kept his name as a secret for this long, so why does it get out now?

@saki-Hime-I agree. No.. I'm pretty sure thats not his real name. If it is, the person who told everyone aught to be ashamed. *frowns*

@Chicho-Yes..

Poor Miyavi. Poor Miyavi's privacy.. so rude people.

Can someone tell me bext fansites with info about Miyavi please? And more than one would be great

What's wrong with Miyavi having Korean blood, privacy? He is famous! is this about the size of his .... no it's about he got Korean blood so what...

well he's spent so long, keeping a lot of stuff private, so its just more of a shock that he's telling us. theres absolutly nothing wrong with having Korean blood. and personally, i think he's still the same Miyavi as before (obviously) and it doesnt change my view of him one bit. (that last bit didnt make sense gomen >_<)

Lee Ki Ah might be his Korean name, but I doubt thats the name he uses. Most Koreans take up Japanese names so to avoid discrimination. So he probaly has a Japanese name.

Well.. yeah. Its funny how famous he is. I would except someone to find out his real name by now. Thats good.

>o< Omg I haven't been here in a while D:
I'm so happy, my friend bought me MYV POPS >_< !!!

If Lee Ki Ah is his real name, then the person who said that should be ashamed D: It totally disrespectz his privacy >o<

yeah, it's funny how people are like "no his name is blah blah blah.." and spreading rumors of his name. I could slightly tell he was korean, due to height and structure
