I wish i could do my art project on Miyavi... The clothes he wears link right into the title of it: Colour!!! .. although my teacher may not be to impressed!!

did u read the lyrics for Yamete Yoshite Sawaranaide?? that's a sad song too.. kinda weird since Miyavi is singing as a girl or something... but sad none the less...

MYV (new alias, apparently) has no musical merit whatsoever. His voice is comparable to a mewling goat's.

He's cute and something for fangirls to drool/splooge over; that's about it.

1) This thread is about Miyavi; hyde has no relevance here. *rolls eyes*
2) I expressed my personal opinion; if it's harsh, deal with it (believe it or not, other people's opinions don't always coincide with yours)
3) If you don't like hearing other people's godawful opinion, create a Miyavi "Safe Haven" where everyone [hearts] him.
4) I've heard more than enough of MYV's music to know it's not that good; just a lot of scream-singing and electronic-industrial rattle (my friend's a huge fan and she insists that I watch all of his PVs with her and give him a chance by flooding my hardrive with his music -- "ashita no tenki ni naare" is one of his better efforts, I can actually detect something resembling a melody. One of my main criticisms on his music is that there's no focus; it's just chaos.)
5) The guy's crazy, wacky and cute (which is probably why he's so popular); he just doesn't have that much going for him music-wise.

And I respect your opinion; thank you for not getting touchy/personal for me having expressed mine.

If you'd like to make any recommendations of some of his better compositions, ones that you think I might like, please do so. It could turn me around; it might not. Just so far, a lot of what I've heard... not so good.

well my personal favorites are Onpu no Tegami, Are you ready to rock?, Shouri no V-rock, Yamete Shite Sawaranaide, Shoukyo to sakujyo, papa mama nozomare nu baby, aho matsuri and the ashita series (there are three ashita songs)

well i can list a whole lot more but those are the ones that usually pop into my head.. there's actually a mix of ballad type songs, acoustic, and rock... he's very versatile...

and i admit it took me a while to like him too (about a YEAR!) so i know where you're coming from... but now i love his stuff!

edit: and since you say your friend love Miyavi those songs shouldnt be so hard to get heheehehe
