I like "Dear My Friend" alot more then gigpig boogie and sss.

edit: you really cannot tell the diffrences unless you know he had work done other then that his old pics would look like he is wearing more makeup or something. He still looks the same to me.

edit : i don't know about anyone else, but to me they're really pretty different. maybe coz i do notice alot about them and such.

OMG for a sec there i thought he was quiting!!! :bikkuri: i'm glad he is focusing to his music more too. i think most of his songs are pretty deep aka i only heard and looked up translations on oh-so-many songs.

but does that means that he is gonna stop for a while?

the interview is already translated in german i wish i could show it to you guys so hm ill try to translate a bit so he talks about that he want to make a creative phase he doesnt plan to make concerts but he think hell make some at the end of the year after he created new music!
miyavi want to create something different then music(i wonder what it is)
he said that hes a musician but rather an artist and he didnt became a musicain to be in the foreground!

and he says something about that he cant visit public hot springs because of his tatoos!

Well, his poses in the Miyabi pics were different. His eyes were relaxed in the Myv ones, and in the Miyabi ones they're a bit strained, especially in the third pic. It could be surgery, but it could be just makeup, sleep, etc. My eyes are kinda similar to Myv's and they seem like that sometimes... I'd really believe it if he actually said he had surgery himself though.

The people there probably think he's a member of the yakuza or something. A lot of gansters get tatoos, that's why they don't let people with tatoos in.

Why does everyone think that beautiful J-Rockers all had surgery? I'm sorry but this is like an epidemic. People see someone who's pretty and they automatically think "surgery" that is sad. It is completely possible to be BORN that pretty. And I think it is really sad that we seem to think that beauty can only come from unnatural sources.
About Miyavi's eyes, ya know he could be doing weird things with his eyes on purpose. I mean, COME ON, this is the person who claims to draw on all his tattoos in the morning. It's not that big of a stretch to think he's just doing odd things with his eyes for photos to create a certain "look" or "feel" or just because he is weird.

nah..it's impossible for miyavi to do any plastic surgery..i mean, it's miyavi!!if its someone like gackt im still hesitate and unsure, miyavi's just look too playful and childish to do things like that..(is he?)

i dont think he did, because most asians who do plastic surgery on their eyes are because they want to change from single eyelids to double eyelids. Miyavi already had double eyelids ever since he appeared in the entertainment biz. Those triple eyelids he had in the photos were probably due to lack of sleep, which happens to many people.. lol

i hope that not everyone thinks that beautiful jrockers all had surgery. look at toshiya and so many others. they're beautiful and it's natural. hahah miyavi's eyes are discussed way in the past and people brought it up again. i still think he did, no matter people say about it. but like matchstick said, who cares o.o

My personal opinion is that yes, he did have the surgery. But really who cares I still love the man and his MUSIC which when you think about it is all that should matter. And please Plastic Surgery is so common now so really, if a celebrity did they did if a celebrity didn't they didn't if thats what they want to do okay let them. Now the only plastic surgeries I don't agree on are the ones like Micheal Jackson (although I still think the man is a musical genious) that girl who wants to be Barbie, those girls on The Swan, and even though its not plastic surgery, EXTREME BODY MODIFICATION. Now I love tatoos and piercings to death. But when Your Whole body or face is modified, come on now thats just creepy. In about 15 more tatoos, I won't like Miyavi anymore(looks wise)

For the love of god the man wrote in his diary he had it done so enough of this I think he did and I don't think he did. I am not sure which entry nor will I look it up if you really care go find it yourself and if you can't find it ask the man himself.

I have a question does Miyavi have his clothes specially made for him? I mean he is like 6'0 in Japan so I am guessing it would be hard for him to get clothes.

haha, that is true. Tatoos are concidered unclean and hotsprings=sacred. thats why they dont allow people with tatoos. The yakuza thing is also true

that reminds me, my family is linked to the yakuza ahahaha my mom is so embarassed by it because it was HER MOM (my grandma) that joined when she was a teenager and of course any crime is VERY looked down on in Japan. But since we live in america now....
