i think the mistake most people make is looking at japanese lyrics from the western point of view. Then the misinterpretation is more than necessary. Miyavi is a budhist +
shinto tradition. Now that changes things a lot. In shinto, everything i the world, plants, stones, objects etc. has a soul. And kami, the gods, reside in objects of natural character- wells, rocks etc. etc.
Budhistic tradition gives every human being the potential to become "god" (and don´t forget, budhism is in it´s basic an a-teistic religion!)
God is in Japan something totally different that the indifferent almighty creature of islam and jews and christians. I think he is more close to the people but requires more to do and search their own pace. SO everyone of us can become god (but again, not n the western meaning), you don´t have to wait for someone else to redeem you, do it yourself!
