Now I'm interested.

Is his brother a professional Muay Thai Fighter, amateur or does he do it just for fun on the side?

Also, what's his brother's name? So I can google him.

I doubt it..ut you can try. His last name is Ishihara (probably, that´s Miyavi´s surname), but I have no clue, what is his first..but he should be junior. In the previous post I added the link to miyavi´s blog, read it there!

remixer, if you could google his lil bro, girls from this thread would worship you at least as a demigod!
 
Searching for information on Miyavi's brother right now.

When looking at the pictures of his brother you posted up.

His stance while he does the high kick is pretty much perfect and doesn't get better. I'd have to see how strong and fast it was, but so far it seems professional in style.

The second picture though... a kick like that is almost never used in Muay Thai. As such, I'm wondering whether or not he's just a Show Fighter and not a real Fighter.

I'll find out soon enough.

EDIT: Just checked out Miyavi's blog.

Hahahaahahahah, he idolizes Basement Jaxx.

They are a House-only group and make some sweet songs.

I'm surprised Miyavi is a fan of them.

Hm I don´t know anything about muay-thai..in fact he didn´t write it was muya-thai in his blog, just "and lemme introduce my lil bro who iz a fresh n young JPN fighter." (cited from Miyavi´s blog Featured Content on Myspace)

Yeah, I wouldn't have guessed it to be Muay Thai, if you hadn't said it.

The fighting stance in Muay Thai is different to normal Kickboxing.

His brother is probably a traditional Full Contact Karate (Kickboxing) fighter.

Hehe in a lyric of papa mama if im right he talks about mother, father and sister. At musicjapan interview he also said he had a sister but no brother X3

And remember he calls everyone his bro. He calls teddy his bro too. So if he had one why didn't he said he had a bro too when he says he has a sister ;p

Well, the world is a very huge and mystic place ...
... what ever ... I think that thai fighter and myvs are related, those facial structures just can't lie !

But Kanji can be very hard to translate sometimes, it doesn't alway say what it means, it's more "figurative" that actual sometimes ... what ever, let it be what ever it is.

If myvs wants to tell us who it really is, then he will, maybe I have some time to look into it later tonight ... if I find some facts I'll let you know ...
 
I think I got the kanji right, because there were just three signs and I know two them...and TYKO´s name is written in latin letters...

and I am very good at translating intuitive, I translated Caesar from latin after all! (and got an "A" for it )

right now I am about to translate Plato from old Greek....T_Tit won´t be as easy as Caesar..
 
well papa mama has always been my favorite song, in ways that i'd rather not go into describing... but i didnt know the words to the second one. it makes me rather sad... i mean, on some level i can understand what he might have went through, but there is so little information, that i do not think i have the right to assume anything about anything...
i am aware of the fact that china and korea were brutally invaded by japanese forces during the world war ii and thus many chinese and koreans dislike the japanese... also i know that there is a trend for young japanese women to marry korean men... some manga artist was talking about it in the back of one of the volumes, but i cannot remember for the love of Gackt's Vanilla which one it had been... i read so much i cant quite tell them apart after a while in my head...
i also know that when Miyavi was a baby starting out, he declared himself to be japanese yakuza, etc. i recall cuz it was the first thing i'd come across on him. i'll try to find the link.

he isnt at all, he neither wears visu make up nor does he wear those typically vk clothes... and his music is totally different. it isnt typically jrock ... rather ...how can i say...rock rock lol and soo beautiful
