i only liked tsuki asobi or something like that by shiina ringo... that was like in junior high so its been a while...
gosh so much to catch up on... *sigh* anyway i must say that Kiyoharu was actually my first jrock crush <3 lulz
and then lets see... well, i started out with manga, never was big on anime, to be honest... before that i was your typical nerd, playing Diablo II 24/7 and reading fantasy books... (thereby crush on Orlando Bloom through the LOTR movies...) but then one day I picked up a copy of Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge and well, she was talking about Kiyoharu and Miyavi in the back, so i was like, kk i'll check it out it sounds cool... and i wasnt really into it at first but then i stumbled on the band Duel Jewel... and well... after a while i grew to love Miyavi but i didnt like him at first cuz i saw Shindemo Boogie Woogie first, and figured him to be a wannabe rapper -_-" japanese 50Cent, kill me please, y'know?
anyway so it then went like this...
Kiyoharu ------> Duel Jewel ----> Dir en grey -----> Miyavi ------> X Japan ------> Gackt -------> current obsession with most of this stuff...

but to answer your question, Remixer, yeah, I'm a goth, cuz i fit the standard description given by Voltaire (the modern day one, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltaire_(musician) ) in his books... and i love the Lolita stuff, always did. I'm definitely not anyone you could accuse of being normal, and i freaking love that. most people are content to remain in the niches that society at large gives them... sigh such a miserable existence. i think i am actually happier than they are.

i have to say this is my favorite Miyavi song.... this was his solo debut, as far as i've heard... really sweet...

and you might like this one, this is newer and hes got a DJ

Lol, I gave a try and listen to the remix of Joshou Gaidou..Miyavi remixed there the guitar from Manji Garame of his Due time...LOL he keeps surpsrising me again and again

Ah, i loved Due... i'm trying to learn how to play requiem now, but its so hard cuz my hands are weird and unbalanced... T-T *im sorry hide... im no good as a guitarist*
actually i took up guitar after i saw miyavi play once, just jammin... it was so pretty i had to learn... still no good at it tho, and i absolutely cant do guitar slapping.... T-T im a failure at that...

requiem is maybe my most favourite song from due..or one of my most favourites. But I must say, I like the due version better than his solo cover...because there he played electric guitar, and he played it incredibly..I always have tears in my eyes, when I hear it..it must have been really painful, what happened to him and you can feel his sorrow and sadness in that song

and I like Girls, be ambitious...the girl is pretty, but HE is sooo cute there!

Olosta...

screw me sideways, I really like that remix album!

Do you know where I can download it?

Cheers if you know.

molestthyguitarists,

cheers for the tips.

I listened to both, but Girls, be ambitious isn't really up my alley.

The "What a Wonderful World" one.... I don't know what to say.... got a rocker, a rapper and DJ in it....

The whole song was too pretentious and happy-go-lucky for me, to be honest.

It´s ok, when you like it. A lot of people likes the album, it´ sjust not my taste, there is not much miyavi in it.

happy listening!

and to WOnderfull world..on lives, he had on stage a tap dancer, a painter and guys who did this things with bicycles..like breakdance..i don´t know how it is called
he is a man of surprises

Cheers for the website, olosta.

Should have the album in the next 3 minutes.

Yeah, I'll definitely enjoy listening to the remixes.

yeah... but to be honest i didnt like his forays into hiphop as much as i liked galyuu and gagaku... cuz at the end of the day i need something sweet to headbang to... if i have any unaltered brain cells left in my head by the time i'm meevsie's age, well... it'll be a miracle of the highest sort... XD

but to me, anyway, subarashiki kana kono sekai was kind of like he was trying to say that the world didnt really bother him, all of these people screaming his name, etc, and lets face it, while we are serious about miyavi's music there are plenty of people who just like one song and are still all obsessed with him but the moment he comes out with something not quite to their liking, theyre outta there... or the fans who stabbed his girlfriend... *which makes the knife lyrics in girls be ambitious quite ironic doesnt it???* i wish i could believe that he really is happy go lucky, but to me it seems as if he wrote the song to cheer himself up and keep himself going, not because he was cheerful or whatnot.
hey, he's human. he can feel like **** sometimes too. he can feel like a failure too. knowing that makes me feel better cuz i know hes only human like the rest, not like, an unapproachable god *tho in some ways he is*

hmm... well, this is a somewhat more recent meever PV thats more to my liking... gotta dig the intro...

Miyavi posted a new entry into his oresama blog...but nex the translator is sic so the translation will be delayed..
and masakarasu is allways few days behind...
Why I don´t speak japanese?????

.... i can understand enough japanese to get the songs without looking up the translations but i cant read it or write it at all... T.T
i guess we could stick it in an auto-translator but those always mess it up...

btw i liked the due'le quartz version of requiem better too, but only cuz miyavi sounds like HE's the one who's dying, and oh, by the way, he's a cat. -_-" not very good vocals at all, but i really like his voice normally... theres this sweet, gentle something to it...

the expression, singing like a dying cat??? yeah, some parts of his version of requiem were like that. there is no denying the emotion within his singing, i will not diss that, but it sounded harsh and angry not bittersweet and mourning.... er yeah im not good at explaining things...

Apparently I made Tokyo Girl laugh a lot today.
You did! I didn't have such a god laugh long time ago! Tnx!

Btw, if you like more electronic sounds you should try listening to Gackt. Ghost has electronic sounds.

girls, how did you go into VK scene?

For me it's was completely different. It began at Taggeds, I thought I'd should add some Japanese people to my friends list just and search for them. I found a Shou "support page" I suppose you can say. (actually I had no idea he was famous at first *lol*) but you live and you learn, I thought he was gorgeous and did a quick search on him, found Alice Nine, other groups and VK + J-rock.

I have seen almost all episodes of "Death note" by all means, Specially liked the first 15 episodes or so best, it got kind of tiresome and all the same in the end.
I'm not much for Naruto though .. :sorry:

hmm.. i'm mangafan for over 9 years now.... nya..stuff happened... I got more and more friends... and then somebody showed a song of gack to me... I think.... don't know anymore

but it's because of manga

well...the pics are way too much shopped...I couldn´t not notice, since I am working with ps a lot lately... I would prefer more of his real skin....

but you´re right, he looks very cute..and innocent

great pics~
he´s natural beauty :haihai:
but we all know that for a long time

lol ^^ he is such a dork. but i had to look in the net for jeff beck
But now I know xD
Well he made me smile today. ( I am in such a bad mood )
Luv him <3

Meowness.... hahahah..... remixer... It's a very fascinating subject, fangirlism. I find the relationship between artistes or idols and fans very very appealing. In fact, I think this type of relationship is very influencial in this world. Just that it isn't given that much awknowledgement as a kind of interaction.

Oh yea.... I found one great formula!!!!!! If ya wanna wake up all happy and pink-faced, fangirl before you sleep!!! Hmmm... since you're not a girl, well, maybe you could fanboy. What a term, fanboy, hmmm.... hahahahaha.... but seriously, fangirling before going to bed helps. Relieves stress, unnecessary stress. Meow......

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah! That made me laugh hard.

I have to refuse the offer to become a fanboy.

For one, I don't even listen to that kind of music.... and then, I still think Miyavi is a woman in reality, but has all of you fooled. Also, I couldn't possibly survive being a fanboy... I have tasked a very good girl friend of mine to shoot me in the head, if I ever turn up as an emo or start reading artist's blogs regularly and get excited over new releases.

No offense meant to you guys... I just can't imagine myself doing those things.

Though, yeah, fangirlism really is a very interesting subject, I have to admit.
You guys really aren't what I would normally have thought fangirls to be.
That is, you can actually think and you have real personalities.
