i'm liking it, but... still not as much as gagaku....

and i need to hear the rest of galyuu....
but... yeah

i was just.... well a little suprised by it is all.... cos his latest dingles have been all... different, lol
 
I'd only heard three of his songs before - Girls, be ambitious; Ashita tenki ni nare*; Tome to juri. I knew he was awesome guitar player cos I like DLQ and his playing there... but I couldn't hear it so well on those three songs and, I didn't really like his voice. But I like this album - I can hear more of guitar stuff and I think the vocal is playful and funny!

In that clip of him playing acoustic (I think it's called Cut, or something, he plays a black guitar, you know the one? It's cool!) I think he's playing with open tuning... I was watching a second time and I had my guitar and was sort of messing about, and suddenly the penny dropped...

I've now been inspired to draw Miyavi, manga style! Wahay! (but I never drew this style before, so... )

*is it 'tenki' or 'genki'?? I've seen it spelled both ways and... *is so stupid*

on he has a PV for, the other... i don't thin he does... but i love them both, lol...

heh those are some of my fave songs by him....

well... it's kinda my ambition to be a mangaka.... not tat i ever will... but it doesn;t stop me from drawing the stuff ^^;

there's a really cool tutorial online... um, i'll find it for you... i't mainly focussed on females... but, you're good enough to bend that to males as well ^.^

I actually did a pen drawing of Myv that I liked, and I'm using the same drawing to kind of... work with... if you get my meaning...

Oh, open tuning - it's when you tune your guitar so that it sounds a chord with open strings (i.e. not fretted at all, you just strum the open strings and it's tuned to a chord). It's a different technique of playing... I've never used it much cos it's a pain having to keep detuning and retuning my guitar, lol. That's the kind of tuning that's used for bottleneck playing (cos of course you can't fret chords when you're using a bottleneck!).

Ashita Genki Ni Naare....
Ashita Tenki, Ni Naare is one of my all time favorits... i have a live of him singing it... and he's harmonising with himself... *melts*

A lot. Lets just say I ate nothing for a year and didnt buy ANY clothes or... anything else. About 2500 US dollar I should think *gets confused while converting money* , and thats not air tickets included. Also... I live at friends house here, so no hotel expense. That leaves the shopping and the eating expenses, and concerts or other joyous events. (I guess you could get it cheaper, but I plan to buy hella lot of stuff while Im here, so... yeah.. )

Both Ashita TENKI ni naare and Ashita GENKI ni naare are damn good songs... *dies* actially.. the ashita tenki ni naare is my favourite right now.. adorable...

lets all agree on Miyavi-samas prettiness in THIS picture (and all others)

ashita tenki ni naare is a beautiful song as i heard it the first time i had to cry. you shouldn't listen to it if you're sad then you start to think about loneliless.

Nah... my friend Kayo is an exchange student here... She's from Tokyo so I can live with her if I go... I'm not into stalking jrockers... *shrugs* but there was that one dream where I was homeless and Die took me in... nah... could never happen... XD

Hey, let's talk Miyavizm - anyone has his new album. What do people think about it? I personally LOVE LOVE it, he's soo great, and most songs are catchy and really good rock, whuch I love a lot. Let's discuss! *waits for people to react*

Also, heh, eh, heh, today, in Harajuku, I walk around randomly, and go into this small jrock clothing store, and... the walls are hella covered with pics of jrockers who has BEEN in THE STORE. The lady working there is all like "yeah, they shop here" I stay for a million hours just checking the photos out; all jrockers, diru, rentrer en soi, hyde, MIYAVI - all posing in the store with the lady shop owner - they're all looking casual too and really awesome (but still pretty) it was soo amazing! *is about as rushed up over this as someone else would be if they actually MET the jrockers in person* And also, I bought the same shirt as Myv has, the sort of cardigan one with black and blue/purpleish stripes, it's soo pretty *proud* there are pics of his wearing that shirt here on this thread *tries to find them but can't* Anyways, I'm soo happy, I'll wear it all the time and pretend it's THE actual shirt Myv wore, only... It's not, but waht tha hell... *tackles the shirt*

I love the sound of the shirt. It's kind of hard to find nice clothes here... there are some but usually expensive... I try making my own clothes but I'm reeeeeeeeally slow at it... meh... you need to post a pic of you in that shirt, cosplaying as Miyavi in the pic (if you can find it, lol)!

Oh, I have Miyavi's new album, I really like it! Before, I only had 3 of his songs and, well, I wasn't so keen on them really... then I saw a clip of him playing guitar (do you know the one? He has rainbow hair and it's a kind of blues thing in open tuning) and I was well impressed... and I already knew he was awesome guitarist because of DLQ which I love... but then I got his new album and I was completely converted. You're right, they're really catchy... I like the bits where he kind of speaks, too...

anyway, it's nice here, but HOT. it has been around 35 degrees (that's the high 90s for all you Farenheiters out there...) and i am DYING. my poor, delicate white skin... (won't admit that the only reason it's delicate and white is because she has no social life WHAT SO EVER, and spends all her time playing video games and watching anime whilst rocking out to Diru) everything is nice and inexpensive though. i just wish i could speak chinese beyond 'shey shey' and 'duei bu chi' (thank you and excuse me). it's hard because i'm supposed to be teaching english with my friend for her dad's company, but i don't think they really understand. oh well...

hopefully i will find some nice cheap jrock...like miyavi and gazette and DIRU and miyavi...*sigh* i'm glad i have a portable dvd player, so i can bring my myv and diru PVs where ever i go...

Says on the CD they're all written in Miyavis bedroom.. I like the bits where he speaks too ! Such a lovely voice. Sometimes it's a lot like sandpaper (whoever said that first, was it Miz? XD ) but sometimes it's beautiful.. and when he talks and laughs it's just hot. Right now my favourite is track nr 5 (I don't know what the song's called) but it's soo cool.. love the opening..

yes, my cousin said it's been hot over there, but yesterday it was 39 1/2 (104F)!! i was so dying!!

i dunno, aparently i can say shey shey with no accent, but i haven't used anything else...it's like my japanese friend wanted me to say something in japanese, so i changed the subject. i'm too scared they will laugh at me!!

and what IS wrong with you!?!? good god, woman!!

that pic... pretty. And yesh, his hands are very sexy indeed. Such long fingers... also love how he paints his nails. *tries to copy him* But, painting your right hand with left hand is too difficult, I end up having nicely painted left hand nails and a really badly messed up right one... (and that was random)

Also Furan; Yeah, you understand me perfectly well; when I was in that shop, I a l m o s t had difficulty standing. It sounds really stupid, but the very thought of Myv (and not to mention Dir en Grey, Hyde, Malice Mizer and more) had actually all been in there (with pics to prove it) made me feel.. dunno.. dizzy.

But I have to say, Miyavizm suprized me. I thought.. or I guess I didn't wanna expect too much out of him - as not to get dissapointed.
I'd want to describe his new songs as "sexy" - it's sort of "hot rock".. or maybe that's just me finding Myv-samas voice too incredibly hot, don't know. But the whole album is really sort of Miyavi - it's got attitude and a certain amount of conceitedness. When you listen to it, you sort of h e a r that Myv-sama is loving his own music and finding himself great. Or something. But in a good way that is. In a very good way.

you don;t have to say 'chotto'. when i go to the japanese market by my house, every time someone backs into me, they just say 'sumimasen'. (that is until they turn around and see that i am white, after which they immediately follow up with 'oh, excuse me.' i can understand 'sumimasen'!! i just never know what to say in return!)

i have yet to hear miyavism... i only have galyuu and some other songs like ashita tenki ni naare, pop is dead, and gariben rock, etc. i am sad. what is it like??
