Optimism good!! Lol, I'm sure if it's too much for him he'll ease off. And, is Yoshiki that bad? I need to look this guy up....
 
Hes not that bad but hes not great either

I reckon that miyavi's style is too different to have a band with them guys that would please them all!
Im going to youtube the preformance now

Ah, different styles... well, sometimes great things come from differing styles. But, we'll just have to wait and see I guess. Might be good...might be bad....might be.. weird...
 
I wonder who was training MYV...

I wouldn't be too quick to judge that Yoshiki (or whatever) guy. Who knows what happened before his outburst, right? Maybe that staff memeber spit in his coffee or slept with his sister! Or maybe *gasp* he played with his toys without asking. Besides, his anger about the music shows his passion for it. Without passion, you have no spark and without that, the music is doomed to failure.
Keeping in mind I have no idea who he is and I've never heard any of his work. Does he suck?
 
Good point, none of us personally know yoshiki... for all we know he could be lovely!

I wouldn't base Yoshiki off of that one clip. He seems to be a man that really loves music. Loves it with an unbelievable passion. However, I think the media has gotten to his head. He wants to big. I think his love for fame has blinded him and no longer sees music with the same passion. It's all profit with him and I'm afraid he enjoys yanking his puppet's strings when he manages/produces new bands.

Though that's just MY opinion! Don't take my word on it =X

They better release information soon... I think this might kill us all if it's prolonged much more XD

You know...you two could be right. But, given that Yoshiki spoke to the members of X the same way he spoke to his worker, it's a possibility he would speak to anyone like that when it comes to his work. I'm not trying to scare you.

For all we know, Yoshiki might be the nicest person towards them. Because he knows at anytime they could just quit and continue their solo work and I don't think he wants that, considering he most likely doesn't want this to turn in to another stalled project like Violet UK. :/

So, I've been thinking and I'm 100% for this band thing. When you think about it, it'll probably be less stress on Meev because he now has a band to fall back on, so now he doesn't have to compose, produce, arrange, write and all that other mojo he did before. So, band ftw.
 
I guess that until Miyavi or one of the other artisists that he plans to work with makes an announcement, we can't really do anything and maybe its better to stay calm and not worry/get worked up until they actually confirm who Miyavi plans to work with since there must be loads of other artists that are older than Miyavi who could be in this new band.

Miyavi does seem really excited though so I hope that if he does want to be in a band again that it all works out well and that he's happy with the outcome...I do hope he can balance being a solo artist and part of a band though since that would mean more work and more pressure☝ ...
 
Indeed, because it's not only him in the band so...less work. Because everyone has a responsibility. When he starts solo work again, I believe he'd be able to manage it.
 
I really am excited about the whole band thing. When I heard about it I was all "YAY GO MIYAVI!" and then others started going "BOO NO MIYAVI!" and I was left going "._____________.?"
But I'm still excited


Ren I know it wasn't a lot, but I had put 5 dollars in w/ my drawings. That was about how much it cost for me to send it to you so. Paying for my share I guess XD!

I have been watching Miyavi videos on Youtube recently. He's kinda cute with a lovely voice. I can't see him doing hard rock with that voice.
How old is he BTW? He looks like he is only in his early 20s. If he is older I want to know the secret of eternal youth before it gets to me

That last performance video is very upsetting. I hate watching last performances. Hell, I hate watching the end of any concert! I'm such a sap =P

- miyavi's joining a band in 2007
- GACKT is starting a band in 2007 with Yoshiki and Sugizo
- Gackt and c/o are revealing 2 new members around New Year
- miyavi will announce the other members around New Year
- miyavi will announce the name of the new band around New Year
- Gackt and c/o will announce their band name around New Year
- Miyavi is at the same time playing solo
- Gackt is releasing a single in feburary
- Gackt has said that they will debute in USA
- miyavi has just returned from Los Angeles
- Yoshiki lives in Los Angeles
- X-Japan's former manager has just paid a visit to Yoshiki in Los Angeles
- Sugizo has said that the new band will be explosive rock music
- miyavi has said he's glad he can scream in the new band
- Gackt's and c/o's band currently 3 decided member out of 5 (they are still missing a guitar)

I still say that it's coincidence. I mean, doesn't it seem weird to you too?? Yoshiki, Sugizo, Gackt... some of the most famous people from some of the most popular bands in Japan. They're kind of the "older" generation and to add a new lively soul like Miyavi? That's disrupting their flow. He sticks out like a sore thumb and would probably get more attention than the others because of it. The others. That probably have a much bigger ego than Miyavi ever fronted. I don't think that's something they would want...

Argh, I just don't know ><

But LA is a very popular place... It's not uncommon for musical artists to go and train there.

We will have to wait it out and see, but unforutnately people will continue talking and this thread won't hear the end of til then I'm sure e.e
