This care package thing is the greatest idea ever. You guys rock! I really would love to attend, but I haven't decided yet what to sent to Meevers and it's going to take ages to send it to America. Well not ages but about a week or two.

Aww, I know how you feel, my sister has so generously passed her flu to me. And thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm starting to get an idea of what I could send. I really hope this cheers Miyavi up, as Ko-Miyavi-Chan we can't just sit back and let our parent be unhappy!

Well, after teh entry we were all a bit sad that Miyavi was sad, and some of us could relate to that, and have gone thorugh what he's going through, and because of that we want to show him that in sharing his feelings with his loyal fans he has to suffer the consequences of us sending him random stuff telling him to keep his chin up, face to the sky, and that no matter what, he's got fans all around the world.

SO broken Rose Ren came up with the idea for a "Care Package" in which we will put stuff to make him happy. and I came up with the idea to send him his lyrics to his song We Love You...because thats bascily everything we want to say...that yes, we are just fans, and yes, we don't know him personally, but we do care, and we want to thank him for giving us this music, and that he has to remember that we, the fans, are all in this together, this journey called life.

[srry, this is getting a bit long winded, but i just got into a fight with teh parets about how i talk about Meeve as if i know him and what not, but i try not too, because i know i am just a fan, and im not disillusioned into thinking that he knows me, or i him...i just can't say that and make it make sence. gah!]

but yeah, basicly, we're sending him stuff..well Broken Rose Ren is. cuz shes awesome. direct all questions about what to send to above posts and PM her when your ready and she'll tell you how to get your stuffs to her.

@darknoonthirty: I know! My mom was like "He's not your man, so why are you sending things to him"? I was like "Because we can". This is the same argument that made my mom go balistic about spending money on Meev for his b-day. I'm not backing out of this one.

odd, after that whole thing happened i put on itoshii hito and the world was a better place
i have both versions and frankly, i dont care what one it is, as long as it's the song. they both have their good points. the first one drives me crazy with anticipation when hes building up to the crishendo and the 2006 one makes me want to cry and becuse it reminds me of my one friend who died last year. plus thats my favorite miyavi song. it works magic on me i didnt think possible

Hai, Itoshii Hito totally does it for me. Especially, the 2006 ver. I friggin <3 it, it shows that Meev has really improved since the first release.

Srsly, KIMINEGA...it touches me down to the core and it's not easy to do that. 1,000,000 cool points to Meev.
 
Srsly, I've been listening to "Please Please Please" like religiously. I must get Miyaviuta ~Dokuso~, it's so good.
 
itunes tells me that between the two versions i have listened to itoshii hito 119 times since i fist laid ears on it like a month ago. I WIN!

Yep, I'm hoping to get it for my birthday. It's amazing how irresistable Miyavi is. Even my little sister, who says she "hates Japanese music" and usually refuses to even listen to anything that I like (apparently I only listen to rubbish ), is starting to like him.

its a fantastic song apart from the sad inspiration for it lol ... poor miyavi ...

ok this has nothing to do with kekkonshiki but ... it was my mums brithday recently and our friend louie brought her a GIANT miyavi cloth poster ... its huge ... lol 1.5m by 1m ... its so pretty ... and she put it in the loungeroom!! ... I just stare at it all day!! lol
 
Sigh* I should have ordered my miyaviuta from CDJapan. They come with a Miyavi poster. Gosh I shouldn't be cheap and save on shipping on YesAsia because they never give privileges. I love the CD booklet for miyaviuta. All the pics are so beautiful.

also about pin cushion queen's mom liking miyavi. mine does too! They should have a mom's for meev club. or something. and..like...bake? nvm mine doesnt bake.

Though she wouldn't get a poster. She just makes me make CDs for her and sticks them on her iPod. She only likes the acoustic, she says he's the reincarnation of some great old guitarist. She's even sent my uncle the Selfish Love PV. And now he likes him.

Hiro is the best ever. He's such a geek. And isnt all "I have powers make me normal!" no. He's awesome and calling himself Super Hiro. Whenever the show was in Tokyo I was looking for ads with Gackt in them lol. And I thiiiink they had a clip showing on a TV with T.M. Revolution. I could be wrong.

When I show people Jrock.. I have to be sure that I think there is a possibilty they might like it. And I show them what I think they'll like. I've showed a guy friend of mine Diru and Meevs and he likes Diru A LOT. And he bows down to Meev's guitar powers. My cousins who live with me looooove miyavi, gackt, l'arc, and diru. My mom likes meevs, my uncle likes meevs, my aunt (funniest woman you will ever meet) wanted to see gackt. So I showed her a rather beautiful pic of him looking stunning with blue eyes.

And she went "My God! He's like a lumberjack!". Then I went "Uh... what?". And she snickered and said, "Lumberjack of fairy land!" And i pulled the lap top from her and said, "You've lost your hot asian privledges."

Her first reaction to miyavi (the person not my cat) was "He's got stuff all on his face." (refering to peicings) But SHE has a nose ring! I ask you. what.

but her face promptly melted at the awesome that is the sounds he makes come out of a guitar.

luckily, almost all of my friends like jrock. One is a MYV obsessor, I'm a Kyo obsessor, and the other friend is a Gackt obsessor lol

i just wanted to start by saying that I realy love Miyavi!!!!
I foud out about him only a few month ago, but I immediately fel in love with him. unlike most artists (who only want to score a 1# hit) his music realty sounds like it comes from the heart, that realy touched me!

I was realy sad when I read his journal, he said that he didn't love himself, and it made me feel even worse whan he sad that maybe "someday" he would be able to love someone else.

Maybe it's just me but he seems realy sad and lonly.

I read somewhere on this forum that you were going to send him a care package, to make him feel loved and a bit more happy?!
I think thats a geat idea

I was wandering, would someone fill me in on this?
If possible, can I join?

Broken Rose Ren came up with the whole thing, and shes putting it togehter because well, she rocks something feirce.
i came up with the idea to send him lyrics of his song We Love You because the irony is just too much, plus its a n awesome song and says everything we want to say to him
and because of this we are all going to send in our signatures so that we can put them on the lyrics. it will be like we all signed it! and he will love it! and YEAY!

Forgot to add this. I'm sending this bear that I bought, it reminds me of Meev for some reason (Meev is what I thought when I saw it). It has on a pink Von Dutch and a white and pink Von Dutch shirt. *le gasp* I swear, I saw Meev in an similar outfit, not to mention...Meev's fav. color in pink.
