In our case, they informed the candidates on different dates. Most of us got the confirmation within 2-3 days after the first person was notified.Do they send all notifications at the same time?
its usually only 6months language course and the straight into masters this is the discrepancy of your supervisor and your department. Most departments where they extend the term is in engineering as the term usually starts in April.I've read it so many times I've actually forgotten: it is possible to get the scholarship for a total of 3 years if one gets into a master, isn't it? So 1 year of language course + entrance exam and 2 years of actual master?
short, sweet abnd straight to the point!!!hey, facing the exact same problem. mine is due tomorrow. I've decided to limit it to three pages all together. including the plan. I've noticed most of the examples of the proposals that got accepted are roughly around 3 pages.
I contacted my embassy with this question and they encouraged research proposals that were longer than 2-3, saying they were looking for proposals that were "fully fleshed out". I think this depends on the embassy? Mine is 6, including a table and step-by-step, month-by-month descriptions for the table.short, sweet abnd straight to the point!!!
I did my in 2 pages and a half, and a schedule table of what I plan to do over the 2 years( i recommend you have this even is it's really rough)
I submitted my application in 23/5 and have still waited for result. Good luck to you too.I submitted yesterday and according to tracking, it has arrived at the consulate-general's office. Best wishes and good luck to everyone.
Woah, you submitted your application very soon before deadline. In my country, the written exam will be in 4/7 and the interview in 28/7. A long time to wait. Good luck.I submitted mine 5/24, the deadline is 6/15 and the interview is 7/1. Hopefully I hear something back soon. I pray we get all the results we are looking for. Good luck
Got an email from my embassy tonight that I made it to the interview round! I'm excited and nervous, gonna practice hard this week! Can't wait to hear about everyone else's experiences!
It's quite unfair. In my country, they post a list of successful applicants in embassy's website, so all get the result at the same time.I wonder how they go about picking people, because the candidates who get contacted first (specially before the weekend) get a huuuge advantage. Monday is the 12th and the interview is the 15th.... crazy stuff
Congrats. Your embassy works really fast. We often take one month for document screening's result. So today I called the embassy. It seems that they are still in the process of picking people. They mentioned that they would announce the results today or Monday. It seems I still gotta wait.

Which embassy are you going through? I, too, am applying through an American embassy and it sounds like they let the candidates know yesterday. Our tests and interviews are set to be on the 15th, as well.
From the email: testing is set to take place in the morning, with 120 minutes set aside for Japanese and 60 minutes for English. During lunch, the tests will be graded. I have been asked if I would rather receive my test results and interview time - if I pass - by email or by sealed envelope. It sounds like those who pass stay after lunch for interviews. Those who don't would be free to go, I think? That is a really quick turnaround if the interviews are indeed going to be on the 15th, that afternoon.
What were all your guys' topics about?
how did it go? goodluck!I am going through the embassy in Chicago Illinois. I did not get anything on Friday. I will wait until Monday night to see what happens. I am so jealous of everyone who got invited for the interview already Q.Q
wow congrats! your proposal seemed interesting! did you use the same one you posted here? do fill us in on how it goes. goodluck!I have been invited to the Japanese Embassy in Sweden next Monday for a English exam, Japanese Exam and Interview!
I'm so excited and worried something will go wrong. Also I wrote that I know next to no Japanese, the plan is the do the courses in English while I'm in Japan, do I still have to do the Japanese exam and what should I expect from that interview?
We won't need to take Japanese exam if we study English program. They will decide base on the highest result between English and Japanese exam. But it may be different in Sweden. Good luck.I have been invited to the Japanese Embassy in Sweden next Monday for a English exam, Japanese Exam and Interview!
