The truth is that nobody knows.
Most people thinks that it's better to choose national Universities because it costs MEXT less money, but the truth is that you are just supposed to choose the University in which you can conduct your research and best suits your academic expectations.
Hi everybody! I'm new on this forum. 窶堙ヲ窶堙ォ窶堋オ窶堋ュ窶堋ィナ?ティ窶堋「窶堋オ窶堙懌?堋キツ!
I'm also waiting for MEXT approval, but still haven't received any news from my consulate... I just wanted to know if anyone here applied for Keio University and already got some news from it?
I agree with you AhmedI completely agree with you ykk
Before applying to the scholarship, one of the people that had just finished his 6 years scholarship (research, Master, and Doctorate) told me that the most important thing int this application is:the truth is that you are just supposed to choose the University in which you can conduct your research and best suits your academic expectations.
I agree with you, too
No national university, that I'd contacted, agreed to send me a LOA, it means my field didn't fit them...
Do you think your university grades on the subjects (the academic transcripts) can also influence the final decision? Or it's been already screened by our consulates and MEXT will not consider it? :?
Unfortunately, I was rejected. No information from Tohoku Univesity, but from Embassy.
It was nice to meet you. Good luck!

I think the exclusion game started , and we have no hands except asking God for helpSorry to hear that, Asanoki(
I have no words, I am speechless.
I am so sorry for the news
I can't believe this is happening.

Come on people!!!Sorry for hearing these bad news, I wish you will overcome that
I think I will be following you.
I am expecting rejection soon. What can we do? nothing. We already did our best. I will concentrate on the future and forget the past.
That is a really bad newsIt's hard to believe and I can not understand based on what, Asanoki's embassy has already determined that.
It scares me, maybe our embassies are hiding something, after all, why only the Polish embassy was already being notified of something?
Asanoki,
If I can go to Japan, and you want to try again next year, count on me to help you out there, with the Loas and everything that is possible. Take it like a short postponement of plans and not like something totally bad.
Good luck to us all!
I agree with you Almeid, but we have no authority, we are the audienceBut we never wait that the cut could get one of us...
Unfortunatelly, it can happens.
Before applying to the scholarship, one of the people that had just finished his 6 years scholarship (research, Master, and Doctorate) told me that the most important thing int this application is:
Your research capabilities
That's why I concentrated on this subject in the interview and my application documents. I've attached with my application a copy of a simple research that I've made, in addition to a letter from a research team in Japan confirming that I'm working with them on mutual research...
I read a book about how to prepare for Monbusho research scholarship, and it stressed that point too; but I really can't understand how they expect someone who just got his bachelor to have significant research skills.
I don't know how it works in your country, but here in Italy you just study and take your exams. That's it (except maybe for the thesis, didn't get there yet).
