I have a question that may seem a bit different so please approach it with kindness realizing
I ask this selflessly and with kindness in my heart.
I have been staying here in tokyo for awhile now and I proposed to my girlfriend of 4 years.
She had experienced trauma as a child and so is on welfare for being unable to be around large crowds
so she cannot work. I would love to marry soon but I was wondering would they take away alot of her financial
support if we register our marriage? I do not want to ask this to her directly because I fear she may take it the wrong way,
if I know the answer ahead of time being that [yes they will take away alot of the support] Id rather just get another job
and work hard to make a bigger nest egg to ensure her life stays the same quality she is used to and then just say lets enjoy a nice engagement while i work hard for us without directly making her think im doing it because of the welfare support reason.
