I thought training and drills were all about overcoming one's instincts and doing what's best. During my first ever fire drill at work, I ran around screaming and waving my arms about, but after being made to do the mandatory fire training, I leave my personal belongings behind, and in an orderly and calm manner, make my down the nearest safe route of exit to the assembly point on the concourse. I don't even whimper anymore...well...rarely.
