Meaning of 呼吸に

Hello,

If possible, please, kindly help me to translate following sentence:

普段通りの何てことのないこのアナウンスを聞いて、どれだけのひとが呼吸に苦しむような緊張を感じることがあるのだろう。

Especially I can not understand meaning of 呼吸に and ような.
I could translate this sentence as

It was not the announcement for usual (expected) street - perhaps many peoples, while breathing, felt worry.

But I am not sure if my translation is correct.

Isn't it a typo of どれだけのひとが呼吸に苦しむような? If so, the eample sentence means as below.

I wonder how many people feel so tense that they have trouble breathing while hearing this ordinary announcement as usual.

呼吸に苦しむ: to have trouble breathing
ような: like/as

通[どお]り means not "street" but "as~" here.

Why don't you follow his advice [suggestion]?

事は注文通りには運ばなかった
Things did not go as we (had) expected [desired].

Yes, I had missed が in ひとが呼吸. I am sorry.

If possible, may I ask little bit more. I am little bit not clear with
「何てことのない」

普段通りの何てことのない.
I tried to put it into your kind translation. So maybe it means
"ordinary" but I am not sure.

Another difficulty is little bit conditional. When peoples feel so tense that they have troubles with breathing. But how can I spot "that" conditional in this sentence.

Exactly. 何てことのない is a colloquial form of 何ということのない or 平凡な.

Oh, sorry for confusing. I meant "feel too tense to breathe".

It is me who should say sorry, I am asking too much.

Oh, if possible, may I ask a little bit more. I have tried to find literal translation for 何ということのない. But, unfortunately, for me it is something like "何(what) + という(that says ~) + の(nominalizer) + ない(negative) and it is all so far from meaning of "ordinary".

何(something) + と(quotation particle) + いう(say) + こと(thing) + の(particle, the same function as が) + ない(nagation) + この(this) + アナウンス(announcement)
there is nothing to say about this announcement = this announcement that is not worth to mention

Does this make some sense?

I'd just like to say that because of the typo, I learned a new word: 一呼吸（ひとこきゅう）. So don't worry about the mistakes.

The sentence is still odd. It means people who get attacks of hyperventilation from the station atmosphere ? Or spasm out normally - despite the ordinariness of the announcements ?

It's probably the line that follows the one in the other thread about the speaker's station being the next one or whatever it was. So they were nervous to the point of having a hard time breathing because they found out something that normally wouldn't have been that big of a deal, but it was under those specific circumstances. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong there.
