Make a grammatically correct sentence?

I'm helping someone out with her English test.
Please correct one mistake in this sentence:

(1 The other day) I bought an interesting magazine (2 about) the Internet and how it (3 affects) our (4 ways of life).

It sounds correct enough to use in everyday language, but it's for the test.

In my "native" tongue of English, there's nothing wrong, however #3 is most likely the wrong one.
Or #4, maybe it's "way of life".

I agree. We don't usually say "ways of life." That's probably the one.
