iv never listened to luna sea much driving.....i did for a short period of time actually.....but i didnt like it too much driving....it didnt fit my driving style i guess? this is a weird topic... :\

Haha, exactly. Halfnumb behind the wheel. Wide empty roads, dark asphalt halflit by streetlights. Taillights in the distance, Sugizo's incredibly delayed violins on the stereo. Driving is always the best way to experience music, but Luna Sea's music is made for it. 👍
 
Hahah I guess I will have to try some Luna Sea while driving then. The way up to my college is almost 3 hours of pure highway.

And Anchyyy: I haven't seen that performance. Where can you find it?

blow up your speakers with songs like rosier, tonight, end of sorrow, loveless, precious, believe, and etc and i bet u'll have a different say about night driving :-) the blasting drums and incredible guitar works by the boys will blow your nerves away lol 🙂

u're talking about extacsy summit 91 (92?) right. there's a video with them playing X together with shinya on drums, and a bunch of guys on guitars like pata, hide, tokyo yankees and etc, including yoshiki who tried his best 😊
 
gah right now i'm watching an old JDrama called Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake (God Please Give Me More Time). The theme for the series is I For You! Makes me so darn happy and sad when it comes on. I love this series just for having that song in it.

it's online in a lot of places. maybe try youtube and stuff with keywords like Extacsay 92/muteki 92/etc. or just buy the offiicial extascy susmmit 92 video 😌
 
T_T *broke over all the concerts this summer+new camera to persue my new career before the concerts start* but ill try...(like i cant even afford degs us release of wtd :( ) T_T

get all, lol. if you are unfamiliar with them get the Period best album. if not Luncay/Shine will tell you what luna sea was about at their late stage.

Yea I was thinking about getting Lunacy because it has a couple of songs that I really like. But I wanted to get some albums with songs I haven't heard before. I guess i'll try out Period too hehehe. When I get more money I'll buy more!

Well Luna Sea was my first j-rock band so it has a special place in my heart....Also Shine was the first cd i bought from Japan.

I only have their Gravity single though. It's my favorite song. I want to get their albums but somehow i'm always short on money hehehe...
 
ive only heard some songs but i cant remember their name. This band is Bou from Antic Cafe's favorite band though ^^

They're okay but not my favorite.

Luna Sea is definitely one of my favorite bands. I have all of their albums, and they are always in my rotation of music. It is very difficult for me to choose a favorite song, because I love just about all of their songs. Even their live stuff is really good - and I typically do not like live albums/recordings.

Let's see, songs I recommened. Again very difficult to say as I like them all. But some that come to mind are Time is Dead, Precious, Moon, Wish, Mother, Dejavu, Desire, Love Song, 4:00AM... And the Lunatic Tokyo Live album is really good, great selection of songs. But get as much of their music as you can. My recommendations leave much left out that deserve to be heard.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I had to spread a little more Luna Sea appreciation.

yeah me too... not sure if it is recent news or I am just very slow on this one. Not many people seem to have mentioned it. So I assume it's pretty recent news.

It's a shame they are only goin to do one gig.
