Like in EU, is it possible in Japan to check in a website how much a person pay tax? Does he/she own a property or other assets like business? Can I search with a name or mobile number? Any help or information will be appreciated. Thanks and stay positive

There are yellow pages (telephone directories), but I doubt there are publicly accessible websites that allow you to check how much tax a third party has paid or what assets or businesses they own. Certainly, privacy laws would prohibit that in the EU, too.

Are you perhaps referring to something comparable to the EU tax reference number? Are you trying to find information on Japanese companies?

The National Tax Authority has a website that allows you to search for corporate numbers:
